Writing Herstory with Virginia Wright-Peterson

wright-peterson

Virginia Wright-Peterson teaches writing at University of Minnesota Rochester and her book Women of Mayo Clinic: The Founding Generation will be published by Minnesota Historical Society Press in 2016.

Too many women’s stories have been lost. History books frequently overlook the many significant and inspirational contributions made by women.

Save your own stories (memoir) or those of a woman you know of (biography). We will look at some wonderful examples, learn tips for historical research when necessary, and try some hands on exercises to get you started or help you revise to the next level.
